Online continuing education courses for nurses on a wide variety of health topics, provided by Merion Publications Inc. and approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses.   Generally, courses offer one and two CEUs for $4-$8 per course.

Medscape is a part of the WebMD Health Professional Network.  This website offers nurses and other health professionals online learning opportunities with CE and CME credits. The list of health and wellness topics for continuing education is extensive. 
 
American Diabetes Association

Children’s Research Triangle, Chicago

Children’s Research Triangle offers various education and training opportunities for professionals who work with children exposed to alcohol and drugs in pregnancy.  There is also a program to identify and address the needs of pregnant women who are using alcohol and drugs and thereby placing their unborn children at risk.
